About The Funky Playbus
The Funky Playbus started by Simon and Iwona in December 2012, and since then they have completed over 800+ parties. Their business continues to go from strength to strength and now run two buses with 4 staff members.
*April 2024 Update : Since Covid, we are only operating limited packages with our newer bus. The original Bus will hopefully return to action in the not to distant future.
Southampton’s Funky Playbus’ are available to hire for children’s birthday parties, creche sessions, community events, galas, fundays, weddings and promotional events.
Each bus can accommodate up to 16 children aged between 2 years and 8 years.
Funky Bus Two
Includes softplay on both floors, which is made up of a giant slide, ball pit, secret hiding space, cargo net, spinning poles, music mat, biff and boff bags, games area and an awesome music system to make our parties extra funky!
The Funky Playbus is fully insured and can park up anywhere with suitable access and only requires a household electricity socket. Comes complete with a driver and party host who will facilitate the music and party games. All staff have been disclosure and barring service (DBS) checked.
Funky Bus One (Currently not available)
Houses an upper deck which has a fully fitted soft play gym with ball pool, slide, biff and boff bags, noughts and crosses velcro games, funky mirrors and a maze which enables the children to burn off their unspent energy and be physically active. Whilst the lower deck includes a mini dance floor, disco laser lights, sound system and smoke machine where the children can boogie on down to the party dances and their favourite disco/party music.

Our main areas of operation are Southampton, Winchester, Eastleigh, Portsmouth and Fareham, however we are available for bookings for most areas and have gone as far afield as Basingstoke and some parts of Dorset.
